Fun facts to up your day:
The Big Bang wasn't IN space... it was OF space. How does that happen? Well, now you know why I'm NOT a physicist. Cuz I dunno. It just happened.
Thena gain a new hypothesis is that our "black energy/matter" is actually waste dumped in our universe from somewhere else's black holes. How and all that? Don't ask. You start getting all "The Matrix" and muttering redpill-bluepill and looking for a long black leather cloat and flinching if you see Keanu Reeves.
When stressed, bacteria will send out chemical signals, much like most organisms --- but other bacteria will respond by sending the "sick" bacteria some of their own genetic mataerial to see if it helps the organism reproduce before it croaks. I dumbed that WAY down, but think of it like this: it's a new way for bacteria, which already outnumber us, have lived billions of years longer as a category, etc., to beat our antibiotics. *sigh*
And high-energy events, be that asteroid hits (kaboom dinos) or nukes (bye bye Nevada's wilderness) or who kjnows what else, can cerate mineral compounds otherwise not found. This can lead us to find evidence for or against impacts in the geological (rock) record.

And on that note, I'm off to nap while I can. Hubby is out of house. Yay, peace!

The thing I loved most about high school was _____________________.

I managed to get my fasting labwork done this morning. It helps that I actually slept pretty well (although that came with weird ass dreams). Made it here in plenty of time and now it's over with. Hopefully I can get results today through the portal. My eye is better than yesterday..still a little red but not really painful or noticeable to other people, thankfully. My tooth is definitely still painful if I drink a large sip of anything, brush near it (that makes the entire left side of my lower jaw hurt), or accidentally chew near it. Only 5 more days til I can see the dentist, and idk how long until anything is actually done. Ugh.
