THE week has arrived. We board the train to Chicago on Thursday. I am still keeping my psycho maintenance focus on channeling the energy bursts from the anticipation. I keep settling for houses and automobiles, but what I really want is a mobile residence. My first choice would be a train. Well. . . This week, anyway. I am still surfing for bee barges. . .
If my ifs are in alignment, this would be a characteristic week for my old self-sabotage habits to rear their ugly heads. Girl, howdy, I gots me a creative array of self-sabotage habits. I think my list of the day might go something like this:
1) reject before I can be rejected. My travel companions are gonna hate me by the time we get back. Should I beat 'em to the punch? Be in control of the situation.
2) I can't afford this. There are a billion kajillion things I could be spending this money on. Should I let the spending commence? Needs more stuff. . . NOW!!!!
3) My homestead is gonna fall apart without me!!! I best get busy burying the victims before I leave. . . Two husbands. Plants, plants and more plants. 150,000 or so bees. Two dogs. Three chickens. . . .
4) There is evil afloat in the world. Best be laying in safeguards against every possible contingency. . . Pepper spray? check Num chucks? check Taser? check Nuclear survival kit? check. . . Now, where do I put my clothes in this two ton suitcase?
Hm-m-m-m-m-m. . . .
Just chewing. . .

Other than that, make sure the house is fully insured, I guess?
I always whopped myself when I tried out nunchaku.
Deep breaths... This is not an emergency. Try to just take one minor crisis at a time. And remember the magic of delegating. And the power of ear buds (even if they go into your hip pocket, lol) and books.
I hope to hear more about it later! : )
Chew carefully.... Insure house, leave a note with the local fire department that two men will be left unattended?
Supportive vibes,

My DIL and grandson (20 months) are going just 'cause neither of them have been out of Texas before. Is there a better intro to the big, bad world outside of Texas (THEY say it is even bigger 'n' Texas) than a grand tour of industrial blight centers?
Enjoy as much as you can with a 20 month old! : )
4) there is evil afloat in the world...LOL...yep.
I always get nervous and excited when going on a trip too.
Remember fear is just frozen Fun! Have a wonderful time.
