Thanks to everybody for helping me get through the past week. I still have those prurigo nodularis itching symptoms from my kidney disease triggering my PTSD, but I'm freaking out a lot less about it since several of you told me stories of having had it, too. When I know I'm not alone I can handle anything better.
Thanks, too, for helping me get through having a student go off on me in one of the classes I teach. I spoke up for myself to my boss, my department chair, about how he demanded extra test opportunities I couldn't give him and how he stalked out of my class and slammed the door. He went to my boss about me and wrote me a threatening email, but I informed campus security and managed to go back into that classroom anyway.
It was hard going back in the first day after his door slamming and his threats, but today we had a great class in that room.
Tomorrow I'm going to a concert with coworker instructors from my college, so I'm even functioning at a high level socially, and not just at work. Thanks for the support so I could recover and have a normal weekend planned.
Progress, not perfection, right?

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

For sure, I'll never get around to living if I wait until I am perfect before I start living.
Hugs my friend!
