I have some good news. It's deer hunting season where I live and I'm doing it. It's the first time in 3 years. To me it's a huge step forward. I love anything that involves nature. And the meat is good. I really don't care if I get a deer or not. Just the fact that I'm not frozen to the couch is great. The season started yesterday and runs through to next Sunday. Still it's a struggle to do this both mentally and physically. I have blown discs, stenosis and arthritis. I can use the excuse of I hurt to keep me from going. I really hope I don't get down and stop. Anyway welcome to all of the new people and THANK YOU to everyone who posts on here.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Happy hunting, Mack, whether the hunting nets you dinner for your body or *just* for your soul.
I miss it, so I still go out into the woods near my house and sit. It clears my head. I always see deer and foxes, and once this year I saw a black bear.
I'm glad to hear you're getting out there, Mack, overcoming all obstacles to do it. Wish I could go along with you myself. It really does a person good.
