Pain today-hope no flashbacks

I woke up with bad chronic kidney disease (CKD) pain today. Feels like having been severely kidney punched many times in a boxing match. Food didn't help. Thought giving a friend a ride to the train station would help, getting out and doing adn thinking about somebody else. Now I'm back home at 2pm and the pain inside continues.

Can't take any meds for CKD because of, well, CKD. Nice Catch 22. Hoping pain doesn't trigger flashbacks and panic attacks. Too weak for them, really.

Thanks, arfie. I've been careful not to push it, and I'm feeling better today. Since I took to getting bed rest so I could fly to Minnesota to be with friends, I haven't spoken with anyone except on here. I'll be staying with a friend who tends to talk to me until the wee hours of the night, though. So I'll be going from one extreme to the other!

Tomorrow's my birthday, which I'll be celebrating with my Minnesota friends. I'll be 56. Wow!!

    My day...today...misplaced my debit card...didn't realize it until I got to the register after shopping to a full cart.  Used a different debit card and pulled apart everything looking for missing debit card before I left parking lot.  Got home, dropped keys.
