Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Support Group
Find support with others who have gone through a traumatic experience. Whether you have chronic or acute PTSD, we are here for you.

The GKs are in protective custody with the other GPs once more. It was the mother who was taken away by police this time. This is not the first time police, etc., have been called in to mediate their romantic disuputes. Details are still sketchy, but I am currently trying to detach from the romantic drama and calm myself for the 3 hour drive south to pick up the GKs. GS (5) has a four day weekend from school this weekend, so we had been hoping to let them spend the weekend at the farm, anyway. Just hoping, since the parental drama didn't allow for planning. For now, at least, we can make believe it was a planned event while we let the parental units sort their own yaddahs.
Support and prayers needed.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
(Kids that age stressed beyond their ability to cope will often turn and blame the next kid down the line. While it's normal 5 year old behavior, kids can get stuck in that pattern for the next ten years of life.)
Has the advice columnist syndicate made the transition to internet media?
I have vivid memories from my own parents fights that I can date to my age based on various factors. My sister...put it all square on me.
Then my kids were 5 and 7 when their dad left, and I watched them do the same thing. (Only it was my verbal 5 year old, throwing it onto her much loved 7 year old brother.)
I hope your grandchildren will be fine...I truly 100% do. But this is the stuff of my nightmares.
Another hug and a blessing sweetie....xo
It is the stuff of many, many nightmares of a heartbreaking diversity of individuals. However many similarities of all the participants in this tragic cycle, I try to keep my focus on the eyes looking back at mine.
Healing hopes for all. No exceptions.
