Toughassteele, just try to take small breaks during the day to breathe today, making sure you exhale. I'm not kidding. When we get anxious through a day like the one you have before you we tend to actually hold our breath in anxious anticipation. It weakens our ability to cope with what's in front of us moment to moment.

Well I went there today there's still fluid in his lungs. His heart rate will not stay stable and either will his blood pressure. We filled out his paper about what he wants done. It's hard to think that he is not going to be around much longer. He just wants to go home and rest with his cat. Thank you all for your support.

Steele, as his end nears, I would support him being at home with his cat. He should be eligible for hospice care to be there with him. I know how hard this is on you. Comforting and consoling hugs.
