This isn't really a trauma thing I just didn't know which group I was really suppose to put this in. For some reason i've been feeling like I've been losing my passion for singing like I still love playing guitar and everything it's awesome and I love listening to music and I still do like to sing a lot but it's not something that I devote to everyday anymore I use to but now it's like when my mom suggested that I play in the talent show at church coming up it's just something I seem to want to put off for some reason. I feel like the passion that I first had which was for acting has come back strongly now and even though I'm not really good at dancing at all I feel I have a passion for dancing now and writing books cause I've wrote a full book already in 4 months and I'm not sure why I feel like i've lost the passion for singing lately.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
My own creative drives seem to be in constant motion, even when my passions are running weak. Maybe especially then. Very often a creative passion seems to wane, only to re-emerge later with new shapes and potentials. I have often heard those silent spells referred to as, "Taking time to unlearn bad habits." Seems to be true in my own case.
Continued support while you figure out what it is for you, Rista. For sure, I don't think I could survive this mental madness without my creative outlets.
Acting and singing are wonderful bedfellows. Both are great breathing exercises. Is it possible that you are *simply* expanding your repertoire? Dancing, as well. So what if you are not good at it today. Tomorrow is coming and change happens. I never got good at dancing, myself, but I still reserve the right to enjoy dancing as a creative expression, or just for the gee of it.
Mostly I try not to over-analyze it. Passion goes where it goes. I might as well try to question the wind.
