Wow, thanks for taking a moment to spread some good mush, Ruby. I really needed some good, kind mush today, honest. Yeah, we here at DS PTSD are quite a contrast to how we ourselves were treated, aren't we? Like that famous quote puts it, "Be the change you wish to see in the world" and all that. At least here in our little corner of the world that we've made safer for each other than anywhere else there is. So good mush right back to you, too. :-)

can i use my web cam and pretend i'm looking at you? it is said that our truest mirror is found in the life and eyes of the people that surround us.

I watched a video on YouTube just now. I'm on my phone so I don't know how to link it across but its a wonderful video for here. I showed mum the Susan Boyle 1st audition of the X Factor as it gets me al the time. Uplifting, that'd the word, thsgs what I am looking for. I'm in a toxic situation till Monday but I'm looking for the good, no matter how negative or critical my mother is. In one ear out the other. I stopped watching TV bcs they just have the motto of 'if it bleeds it leads' sometimes you get a cute piece of news at the end. So I'm focusing on what I have rather than what this place and these people did and took from me. It's ironic my mum now wants to help abused children? Somewhere inside her knowing she can't help me now but she can try to help other. Oscar Wilde said "we are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars". I'm looking up this week. Even if I do stumble and fall I am now older and different to when I was a child. I know its a blip and I'll survive. Its funny how parts of heaing I think will destroy me don't. Maybe being here I'd a complete test. Knowing I can cone on DS tho has kept my gaze out of the gutter x

PS..Ruby I have stumbled in massively ungainly ways, but getting up is always the option to change the scenery in a good way. Hopefully I will learn to fall in those graceful ways soon and not even get a scratch. Well there is hope. lol.
