Appreciation sure is coming hard for me this morning. When I find a flower to appreciate, a bird flies over and makes a special delivery of fertilizer. On my favorite comfort shirt? Really?
Poor, poor pitiful me. . .
Think I'll try appreciating a mellow escape fantasy. Caves are among my personal favorite escape fantasies. I find myself wandering into my mud caves. The ones lit by phosphorescent tree roots. I believe I have described them here before. Min's World?
I am sinking into the warmest of my mud baths and letting the thick, smooth, cushiony fluids embrace me in their soothing comfort. Ah. . . Take my stress into your gentle hug, Sweet Mother Earth.
Anybody else got a dose of Isolation Fantasy to appreciate?

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
I once had the fun of having a Shriner Clown as a co-worker. As I understand it, ALL Shriner Clowns are volunteers. For sure, this rotund fellow was. I worked with him at his day job. One morning he came waddle-hopping up to me in the maintenance bay, crying, "Guess what!!! I'm gonna give birth to a baby elephant! I spotted its trunk this morning!!"
Thanks for the grin, Atec. I needed that.
I have two main ones, well, one is actually a memory. I went snorkelling during the night once. There were these small, phosphorescent algae floating in the water everywhere, like tiny stars or fireflies that I could dive through. I had a waterproof torch, and every now and then suddenly a shark or a turtle or a scool of fish would appear seemingly out of nowhere. It was beautiful and peaceful. I always loved the sea (and being in it), add to that the not-quite-silence of being under water and not seeing anyone in the darkness? Heaven.
The other, sci-fi nut that I am, I imagine taking a space shuttle close-ish to a nebula, and then getting off it and randomly flying around in my space-suit (which I imagine significantly less bulky than a real one) in front of all those colours.
One of the great tragedies of my life is a saltwater allergy that covers me in small water blisters any time I spend time in the salt air. My skin typically starts itching from the salt in the air within 10 miles of the coast. My loss!!! Thank god for documentaries, but it ain't the same as being there.
This morning's need for a therapeutic "Safe Place" has me revisiting my mud caves. Got my phosphorescent tree root in hand and I'm walking the gentle slope to the mud baths. The mud pulls the stress toxins out through the pores in my skin. Floating in mud is kinda like a full body massage without the insinuations of human touch.
Lots of room in my mud cave, if anybody wants to pluck a phosphorescent tree root and join me. Be sure you put your tree root back where you found it. The trees need their roots.
Me and hubs first date was an outdoors one. We were strolling down the path in the park and one of the feathered beings decided to shit on my head. As you are now aware, lol, it's not a land and stop there, it's like throwing paint, and it ran down half my hair. I literally started crying out of embarrassment and disgust. Date ended with me ruining my hair washing it out. Hair that I spent over an hour doing because it was long and curly and takes forever to straighten. I was told it's good luck, still with hubs so maybe but I really think it's said to be lucky so the mortified shit wearer has some measly consolation.
Gentle hug for all who need it..... What an awesome way to spend a day.....xo
your woodlands are all around you when you come to min's world - if you place them here :) nancy xo there is so much room for us to build - it is all new still.
and the planet is small so there is beach everywhere 0- i think so - right, arfie? except, probably a good bit farther than ten miles away from wherever the Arf is - so she won't get the blisters. unless maybe on the this world, arfis isn't allergic to the ocean :O) lol, how cool would that be xo
all the way up to my ears please. thank you so much
The building of the mud cave in your Woodland began when you asked the question, Nancy. Is that your giraffe and zebra I see up there in the apiary which sits atop the thermal vents to the mud cave? Looks like they are discussing something important.
Jenn. . . The beach is at the bottom of the cliff which holds the caves. You can wander along the cliff to get to the beech or you can access it on the same path I used for my land entry. The phosphorescent tree roots are on the land entry end of the path. Not to many tree roots like salt water.
arf - i searched for the min's planet or world and cannot find it anywhere :(
we have it in our hearts and memories - now here xo
