Hotel housekeeping

I have to travel for work and stay overnight in hotels. Nicer places like the Hampton Inn. But I still have issues with people I don't know entering the room I sleep in. So I usually put the do not disturb sign up so housekeeping does not come in. I just am nervous about any invasion of privacy. Does anyone else have issues with hotels?

Yes. I do they samething as you. No one is allowed in my bedroom here at home also. I have a hard time going in friends and family basements.

Hotels etc.- love having all the locks on, room on an upper floor.

I live in a gated community (there's lots of them in SoCal). During the day I keep the curtains open, so anyone who comes to visit me knows they may be observed - by neighbors etc. Not that I don't trust people who come visit. I don't trust anybody. (Sort of a variation of 'safety in numbers'?)

I am more afraid of being trapped than I am of being invaded. I have the big, amazing world to hide in when avoiding invaders. It would take me less than 20 minutes to turn a hotel or gated community into an internment camp. Those security measures can keep you in much more effectively than they can keep an invader out.

If I am in episode, you won't get me anywhere near a hotel or gated community or any of the glare light centers.

As for who goes through my underwear? Like I care. They are just things. If you are that bored, you just tripped my pity meter. My travel funds are in my self-installed pockets.

    My day...today...misplaced my debit card...didn't realize it until I got to the register after shopping to a full cart.  Used a different debit card and pulled apart everything looking for missing debit card before I left parking lot.  Got home, dropped keys.
