Yesterday I had my one year follow up appointment with my bariatric surgeon about my weight loss surgery. They did blood work to see if it had affected my chronic kidney disease, and to check vitamin levels to see about nutrition. My kidneys passed the test, and my vitamin levels are good. I'm so grateful. I lost 110 lbs and feel and look much healthier, so I'm glad to have confirmation I'm actually healthier, too, now. Thanks for your support. There's even another member among us here at DS PTSD who, in addition to having a PTSD diagnosis, too, also had the weight loss surgery I had. So I really did not feel alone in this important checkup, as I mentioned yesterday to my doctor.
