For jury duty, no less. I guess everybody knows this, that there's a lottery system out there that pulls up people's names at random to serve on a jury.
I know it's something that could happen to anybody, just part of being a citizen. But inside I'm still going REALLY, UNIVERSE? I've done pretty well keeping my head above water at work, staying positive and functional with my flashbacks every day, doing weekend work part time at churches. Last week I sat with the dying father in law of a student who called me in crisis.
And now freakin' JURY DUTY, too? C'mon.
So I'm writing my letter right now asking for an excuse. But part of me is ticked that I even have to ask. I would've liked it if I just didn't win the lottery like this so often in the first place.
But, hey, there are worse things. I guess I'm just a little stressed out and didn't need this one more demand on my time and energy. I'll get through it, of course. It's not like kidney disease or any of the other extras I've got on top of PTSD. I just needed to rant a little to vent and say GEEZ.
Anybody else who has anything else to vent, feel free here. :-)

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

i've been trying to clean the house (mainly the living room). in doing this a lot of my old injuries are flaring up and i am in a lot of pain. now mind you i am having to clean up all of my mother-in-law's stuff that she has left here to pile up and collect dirt and mouse droppings (dad was a hoarder). lets just say i'm feeling under appreciated at the moment.
ok thats my rant. next .....
You'll be fine.
I actually want to be on a jury at least once in my life. I think it would be interesting.
Looks like I'll be the plaintiff soon...
Thanks for your experience.
