Hi. Iknow it may not work for everybody but I have been taking a low dose of cymbalta for about 2 months and I have found that it has helped me level out a bit. I was having problems with churning up inner rage when thinking about injustices that have been dealt to me by certain groups. I was obsessing and working myself into a tizzy of explosive hate. I was feeling out of control in many respects. I was the poster child for road rage if I was provoked ever so slightly. It was like being a time bomb looking for release.
I really don't know why one little pill has changed this for me but I am thankful that it did. I'm not perfect but I feel more calm and able to handle some of lifes challenges. I suffer from chronic pain and with that I can get a little bitchy when I'm really hurting but at least their is a reason behind the bad mood. I don't tend to obsess about my past problem.
Hope it continues to help. Maybe it can help others.

Hope it continues ... maybe even improves.
However, I am glad that you realized you needed more help and tried medications. If it helps to take the edge off it is a good thing. Now you can focus on getting well and dealing with the injustice and trauma. My doctor once told me that the medications work about 30% and 70% is up to you to change. I look at like this, that is 30% less I have to do to get well.
Happy to hear the meds are working! I hope you continue to improve.
Glad this is helping, and thanks for talking about that rage-aholic stuff, as I came to call it about myself, unc.
Glad you found some relief. May it grow into something sustainable.
