I think I am falling into hate with that expression. I hear it everywhere in a spirit which makes it sound like ordering lunch at a drive-thru. "I'll have your Narcisist special, politically correct french fries and diet coke, please."
My 45 years of personal therapy, including helping others, have been more like a maze of obstacles, fun house mirrors and constant interrupts. There is nothing justy about, "Just Getting Help."
Just venting. . . Vent along, if you wish.

I just posted a request for some special help that I think is not on the menu. Ironically I've noticed lately that it is abundantly and inconsiderately made available from the self harm group. I'm wondering if some SHers dont have access to compassion. While you guys here and all the PTSDer do have it. Seems that way.. but if I vent any further I'll use up all your space........

Yup, there's been more than one time in my life where asking for help has been a lesson in being careful what I wish for. Not all "Help" is helpful, not even when "it's for my own good."

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!
