I see one old friend got their old profile back just today. There is hope.

Lilly just got her account back from the old site today. She had had to create a new one with the username "Harry" here after years of posts as Lilly! So sorry you're going through that, too. And with two accounts. I wish I could fix it, but I can at least say "argh" along with you. I would be frustrated, too!

Same here! I have 2 profiles as well thanks to the new DS. Right now I have no access to my old one and I guess I have to figure out how to shut it down. I am not happy about this and feels like I am killing an old me and starting over? My old profile was bluesun and now I'm bluesky.

I think I will hop back over to MDjunction at least there the team gets back to to solve problem. Your all welcome to join me.

If you go to DS Members Community DS is giving updates of what they're working on... The biggest thing right now is getting everyone back on the site... As well you can post any problems you're having and they are reading the problems on there regularly... Big hug

I gave up on my old one and asked them to delete and it is still giving me issues. *headdesk* I miss my old LeoX3, but... Transformation can be good. It's just stuff on a screen.

Scott, I am so sorry you havn't been able to get into your original account - I know that can be so frustrating, especially when you have a lot there. it took me until yesterday to get into mine - I still cannot believe i'm me again...I was getting used to being the alternate me almost.

the thing I want to share with you is, that as difficult as it was, they are working on it - I didn't think I would ever be able to get in and I am now. I think it gives hope to others - so I am speaking up here - yelling, if it will help. you matter. I believe they care. it is a weird way of going to get the way back on but I finally did it - well, and they did stuff to make it work, but it is weird still.

there - ...request new password or lost password - something like that - but you have to copy the link and paste it into address bar - not meaning to insult intelligence here - I need things spelled out exactly

then - ask it to send password to the email you had associated with that account

when I went to my email - it wasn't there. previously ALSO was not in spam - THIS TIME - IT WAS IN SPAM FOLDER.

the link to new password would not work while in spam folder as my security had protection against it.

I had to MOVE IT to my INBOX. as soon as I did that the link worked!!

I chose a new password and my LillyPotter opened at DS. blew my mind.

this is a direct result of THEM FIXNG THINGS. this stuff didn't happen before - I TRIED IT BEFORE. hugs, I know it is so hard, but maybe try what I tried again, one more time, this way

I find situations like that frustrating too. Then you just seem to go in circles. The new site is very triggering for all of us PTSD...hang in there

No, Scott, you do not look like any more of an idiot than I did when I was screaming like a banshee on the side of the road because a nail had punctured my tire. Compost happens. Composure sometimes gets lost as a result. Welcome to Life.

Not to minimize your pain. I might have been guilty of homicide if anybody had tried to invalidate my rage at that punctured tire. . .

So sorry Scott for this problem. Hope DS will fix it and you can have back your original account. Other people have been having problems with this. I would be very frustrated if it had happened to me. Hugs for you.

Thank you all so very very much for your reponses. although im still sad about loosing my old profile i have transferred all my journals and info to my new profile. I realised that change can be good and that im still me. I think me was the hardest thing to reclaim other than a password. One thing that still concerns me is that it i ask for my old profile to be deleted that both of my profils will be deleted because i think that there stupid enough to do so.
