No, this is not off topic. Foot-in-Mouth Disease is that nasty condition which causes me to blurt the most outrageous things without any conscious filtering, whatsoever. For somebody who over-thinks everything, I sure do have a short connection between my brain and my mouth. Here on the internet, that would be a short connection between my brain and fingers. I have often wished I did not type 85 WPM... Would I be less likely to blurt if I typed with two fingers?
My Foot-in-Mouth Disease has been running rampant in my real life. The anxiety behind this posting is that I have been offending my wonderful friends here in the forum. I don't want to "out" anybody by getting specific, but if I have offended anyone, please accept my sincere apology. It was my Evil Twin?

But it's just a side of the still human part of us sneaking through.
I have noticed you "on" more, and like it, but I have had some time to get to know you. one word...fascinating.

(Hi buffalo! (((((GIANT HUG!))))))) )
Tonight I went to a beekeeper's meeting in an effort to break the isolation that I have been feeling so acutely since the end of grandfest. Normally I like the peace of isolation, but it has been eating me alive lately. Yes, jewells, I have been around more than usual lately. This is why...
As always, I sat as close to an exit as I could. Part of my hyper-vigilance? I still can't handle the center of a crowd. I still can't stop myself from scouting all available exits before I sit down near the most functional exit. Every so often I can get myself sit in the center of church during a service, but it takes a conscious push. Only had to leave the beekeeper meeting once and was able to return and finish the meeting. Was able to find a moment of joy in the heightened sense of touch as I ran my fingers over my arm for tactile grounding exercise.
Progress over perfection?
