The lawyers will not take the case on not perment damage or death, so not worth time and more psychological than anything. It could have been a lot worse. I am trying to lodge complaint but they have not returned my two calls so far, but I will go to the president of the big hospital that runs this hospital if I need to to just feel heard....do not expect they will do much, but I refuse to roll over and do nothing, because I was emotionally strong enough and healthwise lucky enough to walk away, but what about the next person and I WILL NOT BE A SILENT VICTIM AGAIN!

I don't really know how to label this but I having a rough week and I can't say it's one thing.... I have a lot on my plate which is nothing new and I try to cope in many positive ways and do but I still have my moments.My kids more so my daughters talk to me about everything which I know it's cause of comfort and we are close.... however I really struggle with the venting about their dad which...

Also, CJ: Go you! Be heard! Don't stress out too much over it, but yes, be heard---because if we don't speak, they don't know, and if they don't know, there is no chance of change. I complained about the physiotherapist who made my pelvic damage worse---and while the PT place did zero, my GP no longer refers to them, etc.
Small things add up to Big in the end.

There may also be a patient advocate group in your area that could help. I don't know the details of your situation but they may be able to provide some ideas.
Another avenue is becoming an advocate for people with a similar experience. Writing articles, getting the word out there and providing connections to existing patient rights groups may be a productive and positive outlet.
