Have you ever felt really sad but not sure why? I think maybe the pain is getting to me. Being in a splint 3 hours a day forcing my muscles to heal correctly, my old injuries and arthritis hurting on top of it. Having to retire early from a hostile work environment. The loss of so many friends this year that I normally celebrate with. The nightmares and flashbacks. Being alone most of the time while my husband is working. I should be happy, but I can't seem to shake off the sadness of this last year. I honestly wasn't sure I would make it through 2020, but you have all helped me make it through the year. I really hope 2021 is a better year for everyone and things start looking up.
Thank you for letting me get out my emotions. The only way I can express them is through writing since I am numb.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
That's my theory and I'm sticking to it. . .
Thank you for reminding me and giving me the opportunity to put ^it^ into words, Secouya. Here in the closing days of Hell Year, there is quite allot to be sad about. My optimism wants to believe 2021 will be easier, but? ? ? Do control freaks ever give up control so easily? My over-riding sense is that the global germaphobia has only just begun jerking us around.
Processing. . . Healing hopes for all. No exceptions.
Sending much support

Glad you all tested negative for COVID so you can rest assured of safety being together at your Dad's home. Yeah, let's hope we can get social again next year and raise one another's spirits.
