i volunteer at a Catholic charity in a clothing room. We had a lunch meeting. I like talking to the other volunteers during work, but I started to feel scared during the meeting because everyone sounded so polished and with it and I'm not like that. Just sat there feeling frightened. I always had problems sitting for hours in school and college.
I also have a driving phobia and felt very scared during a film about children and car safety about a week ago. It was part of a comedy, but it wasn't funny to me. I feel overstimulated. I had to get a steroid shot for eczema a few weeks ago and I think that brought back some of my hormonal issues.
Things seem even to be getting better socially, but it feels like it's too late for me emotionally. I just want to move to Pitcairn Island and sit by a palm tree and watch the waves. I was born, I messed up, game over.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Volunteer work is what helped me get over my own, massive authority issues. There were quite a few of those volunteer board meetings where I was elected to authority positions while I was visiting the ladies room. After I got a taste of BEING the authority, I was able to be a bit more gentle and appreciative of the folks who are currently doing the job. Continued support while you work through your own, ds. Glad to see you made it through the site changeover.
