Hi, this is my first post here. I'm trying to heal from childhood trauma. Been dissociating a little, feeling in a mild fog. This is what happens when I work on it. Therapists mostly advise me to avoid it all, but that doesn't seem helpful. I feel like every therapist has been trained to tell people to not talk about sexual abuse. So I'm working on it on my own. I want to have somewhere to check in.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. Welcome aboard.
To all children, wherever they might be, I say of those who have hurt you that they are wrong and I'm so sorry that you, healing, are within this type of head-on abuse of children. I pray the heavens open for you today. Please consider starting a DS journal and invite good friends to mingle with you, support you with loving care, and offer you new ideas to cope with this situation. It is possible to find peace within your mind and body, a place of spiritual power.
You deserve a hero's welcome for coming into this support network. I hope for you to feel comfortable and content to open up and share your feelings - this takes great courage!
Be brave today. If this helps you to know, children, regrettable to their abuse, often see the truth of that dark world and adults do not see so plainly. Most likely you tried to share with them your honest insights and you were hushed out of their shame and guilt. Dismiss their ignorance, and focus more on a greater dimension of the world as more sophisticated to your needs now. You are able now to find your own healthy insights as an adult.
I am so pleased that you are here at this support group. There are much wisdom and care in the words of others ahead of me. Your post is valued and you deserve the loving support found here in these strong replies.
My best to you today.
I wish my therapist was like that. All the therapist I ever had want me to talk about my past. They keep saying that they want me to have a voice. I dissociate and I don't like it.
