Base camp is moved to a spot an easy walk away from the Ohio River side of the confluence. About 75 miles by road. Much shorter by river. I found this spot yesterday and even my support dog recognized it with approval when we pulled in. If I translated her soft shakes and tail wags correctly. . .

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Disney cartoons, they ain't, but I do believe my dog talks to me all the time, and I listen as well as my human limitations allow.
My dogs have been excellent companions. So have my cats. Whatever works. I had one of each sleeping on my bed with me as a kid.
