Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

Today (August 8) is INternational Cat Day. Don't click away! International DOG day is August 26! Both were created to raise aweareness and funds for the well-being of critters. We have many such dayts, to the pint that every day is like an old Catholic saints' day calendar: Take your pick!I'm home, obvs, and still ill. Left calf and foot not great after a tangle-fall, but i'll live. Just can't...

A song that's been on my mind a lot lately is one that was a favorite of mine years ago, On My Own by Ashes Remain. The chorus ends with ..." In the end I'm realizing I was never meant to fight in my own.," https://youtu.be/kKLHfYRQ7fM I have sometimes really gotten off track trying to do things on my own.
There was a period of time a few years ago when I benefitted from a (at least) daily dose of Unbreakable by Fireflight https://youtu.be/PFA64Eq2Fqs. "Where are the people who abuse me.............but I'll be stronger....."
I don't think a week goes by that I don't listen to Feel Invincible by Skillet at least once:
https://youtu.be/Qzw6A2WC5Qo. "You make me feel invincible, earthquake powerful, just like a tidal wave....my titanium, fight song raising up......."
I have a playlist titled "Determined2" that I use when things get bad. Check it out if you'd like: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL26F60832B9292DF6&feature=share
though it may be a little out of date.
For the most part, if a song ever becomes a 'favorite' I love it forever, though there may be a few exceptions.
I think that's enough for now, or I'll be here typing all night. :)
Peace and hugs.
