My current therapist gave email me a consent form in order to talk to my new therapist BUT I could not email it for a few days because it would mean that it is final. But I meet with new therapist this past Tues and we spoke and after the session I email consent to both therapist. I cannot believe that I did that and I does not know how I am to feel.
My new therapist seems nice and I am tryimg to be hones with her that I does not like this process. She is doing her best to assist me at this time. And my current therapist is also and she is been very patience with me.
I am trying not to deal with it and I am trying to stay very busy so I does not have to feel anything. I told both therapist how this is affecting my health and my current therapist stayed that it is norm because for me both my emotions and health ties togther. My neurologist had informed me that whatever stress me out internal or external decrease my health and there is a concern. I don't know if I care at this point. I am trying to just go through it.

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

I understand, my emotions & physical health tie together as well. Stress makes my other health problems flare up even more.
Be gentle with yourself, it sounds like you are doing the best you can
Sending you support & gentlest of hugs <3
Sometimes it is best to face-off with those feelings and this way allows yourself to let the feelings flow in spite of it all. Look at the world around us now. People are expressing bad, evil, uncontrolled, and destructive behaviors. Then there are those, such as you, who are just trying to go through in a non-hostile way, all are common expressions because this is really living in the unknown. Our feelings are not the cause of the world falling in. Keep this in mind. And I am certain that your therapy team is thinking clearly about doing what is in your best interest. To be sure, talk plainly and openly with them as often as needed.
Love & hugs to you today. I am so sorry for the clutter of feelings. However, you are coping just fine.
Shutting your emotions down and then opening them up again as you move from one to another is a survival mechanism I recognize from my own experience when I moved and had to change therapists years ago.
It worked out, and the way it sounds like it's going it will work out for you, too. It's a stressful transition in the process, but it sounds like it will come to a good conclusion like it did for me.
Thanks for all you encouraging words. I am trying different things in order not to become too sick because of this virus and I cannot go to the hospital. I really hope that it works in favor for me, The good thing is that my new therapist stated that if it dies not work out with her after awhile I can seek another therapist and she will help in the process. She will be active participant and that is very comfortable to me because my current therapist and I does not know if things will work out for me to continue to see her. If it does not then I have the new therapist for a year or a year plus then have to do this all over again (I really does not want to do this again). This is why I am going through the motion so to speak and only open up a bit. Thinking about it making me want to cry. Sorry later
The new therapist we met yesterday and we started paperwork and the process is not easy but she is open minded more than my current therapist has every been.
Overall, my current therapist is expecting a lot from me and I think is because I have seen her for three years and some horrible things had happen and I just keep propelling and now she expect of me which I told her is not fair because I know me more than her and I need help at this time which she could careless. She stated to me today that the new therapist is very nice and seems kind (lol, I wanted to say to her you could have been that way too or did you learn something for her?). I did not say it because my current therapist would not be able to take it and would put on her therapeutic hat and became werid.
The new therapist remains me of the agency that I had before my current therapist and each therapist there was so nice and supportive and teaches me things. every year at that office I would get a new therapist because they were students. And yes my current therapist is a student but the office she works at only sees individuals for 6 months but as long as a year or a year plus.
I do welcome a kind and support therapist and one that is doing treatment plan with me (my current therapist never ever did a treatment plan with me since i met her in 2017) she goes with the flow. I think what I like about the new therapist is that she does treatment plan and from the beginning lay out a foundation for me that my current therapist had never did and still does not do.
So, this process has it good and bads (I add an s to bad because it is bad). But I in away has learned a lot since I started therapy with this current therapy and yes it has been a sweet bitter journey with her. I never had a therapy who my journey was sweet and bitter at the same time( I normally has very very good therapist and one bad apple). So my current therapist is and continue to be a shock to me but I like her because she is honest and is willing to try. And she after a bad sessions stop and try something new. I think I was the weridest and most challenging client that she ever had. She said that she has never worked as hard as she does with me like how she with her other clients. So I give her credit,. I do. I am not a difficult person she said but has a lot that happen in life and too young to had understand and she said clients like me can be hard but I am the werider type ( I smile because I like to be different even though everyone who knows me said that I am).
But, I always tells others who are puzzled about me if everyone was the same this world would be boring and I would not survive it even though I am still trying to survive now. But I am glad that I am on daily strength support group. It is hard but I like that you guys are so cool and supportive. June 17th coming and I have both bitter and sweet taste about it. But let see what happens because with God all things are possible. Anyways, I cannot stay long today online because i have a few online appointments with a few doctors. Thanks for all your support.
