A few days ago I found my dogs were playing with a baby bunny. I didn't think it was still alive, but miraculously it was. He didn't have any bite marks or cuts at all. So I took him inside (much to the dismay of my dogs) and put him in a sock on my chest over my heart. 5 hours later, I felt him moving around. I was pretty surprised! I thought that since the dogs had been playing with him for about 24 hours, that he's at least have something broken.

So now I have a new form of happiness therapy. He slept in my bed last nite, bc I didn't know what else to do with him, and I wanted to make sure he was warm enough. When I woke up this morning, he was snuggled between my neck/shoulders and the pillow and mattress. I was afraid I would turn over and squish him. But I think he's just so happy to be alive, and safe from my dogs. He loves me already, and knows I'm here to take care of him.

Oh, how cute. He's cleaning himself for the first time.
