Since I have been at the ER this past tuesday I have been having meltdowns cause of my physical health. Today is saturday and trying to stay busy and also relax so I can get better.

I have crazy thoughts going though my head and I do not want to do anything stupid.

Asking for hugs and whatever people can give.

I had unwanted contact from my abuser this week, so I've been riding out the ripple effects of having my PTSD triggered--sleeplessness which leads to headaches, etc., which leads to drop in positive attitude, general irritability and unhappiness. Which all passes. We know it does, so it's no time to make any decisions or, as you put it, "do anything stupid." These are feelings, they are not the reality that cause PTSD, they are the residue of real things that happened but are not happening now. We survived, we are safe now. These meltdowns will pass--both mine and yours. We are not alone.

Ladydi, at least you recognize them as crazy, that's a huge relief to your friends. Yes, doing something stupid would not be good. I'm so glad you posted, it gives us all a chance to say Hi & hugs that we might not otherwise. Too many times we just let important things slip thru the cracks.
So hugs, Hi, and Hang in there. We make our own good times, so get started. LOL

Being aware of what is happening is the harder part for me. Once I know what IT is lets me take more effective small steps, like this one you just made here.

keep stepping. I know it is hard, but you got it going on. Way to do the do!!

    My day...today...misplaced my debit card...didn't realize it until I got to the register after shopping to a full cart.  Used a different debit card and pulled apart everything looking for missing debit card before I left parking lot.  Got home, dropped keys.
