Exactly and then he would just sit back and stare at me with that look and ignore me until I yelled at him, and then he would grab me and tell me not to yell. It was this huge cycle every time and he knew just how to get to me.

so he was kind of pushing you to do what he did, and then punishing you for doing it. bringing you down to his level and then kicking you when you got there.

Lovelife and rachel, I have the same thing with my bf. His eyes become totally black and it is terrifying to look at him. He is really calm but there is this thing in his eyes that makes me think he is capable of anything evil because there is no love or feeling in them. Like someone else said, even my enemies have never looked at me with such a look. As for his face, it appears to become waxlike if that makes any sense. It's just like all life has left his body and there is something there but not a human being. Like you can cry hysterically and he will stare straight ahead and continue eating, surfing the web, anything he is doing.
I don't about the whole demon thing but that is just creepy. I have had two dreams of him being Satan and lying on the ceiling above me trying to kill me. Also had a dream he morphed into a werewolf and was going to kill me. I guess these are just signs they're monstrous.

This is crazy. I always knew when to take cover with my ex. When his brown eyes turned Black. I think it sounds crazy but, I seriously believe that there is something else at work inside. Not that that's an excuse. For me personally, it's an even Bigger reason to get away from that evil. But I do believe 100% that Rage is evil.

I know EXACTLY what you are referring to. It's like his eyes go dead. They turn dark and it's like there is nothing behind them, except maybe rage.

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and if there's any truth to that, it's very, very unsettling to see someone with empty eyes.

Reading these responses terrified me. I too have seen a man's eyes go blank (as I describe it). Two of my recent exes had that happen to them, and it was always in mid argument. They would get real silent and stare into me with no expression at all. It all felt so cold, and that any moment, they would snap and break my neck in half. My friends described his eyes as 'empty' as well. It's crazy.. I never really thought anyone else had experienced this. I supposed this is another sign to get out.

This thread makes me feel physically sick. I don't know if my partner's eyes go black, I just know they terrify me. I mentioned the other day in a journal that he was acting all nice but twice as he went outside for a cig I caught a glimpse from him that scared me - that was it. The rage-filled eyes. I think they do go black, not all of them, but the coloured part. It sounds right. Really creepy.

Yes, to me it seemed like something blck overtook his whole being and then he emitted it from there. A friend of mine witnessed it once, and she said she'd never experienced a "sonic boom of anger" like that before. And at that time, he wasn't yelling or anything. So glad I'm not having to see that all the time in real life anymore - just in my nightmares.

I just wanted to clarify what causes anger. Fear is the basis for every negative emotion including anger. Every human being experiences fear in one form or another and this is a direct result as to a strong possibility to why someone's eyes dilate to black. My girl was having an extreme anxiety attack where it rendered her unconscious and her eyes turned dark black and that was due to extreme fear, not anger. Let's jump off the band wagon about abusive men. Men experience more fear then women for one main reason there are sexual predators right now outside your door Scheming to rape you in ways that are so subtle it's not against the law. So be careful ladies, fear comes in all forms..

Regarding the eyes going black it is correct. It happens. I witnessed it on many occassions along with other physical changes. The skin colour in face drains to a grey/ white palour the neck enlargens and chest and shoulders grow bigger. Anyone who sees this happen needs to know the type of person that displays this is highly volatile and dangerous and there is no rational thought process in a person who displays this. This happens as the blood drains from the body to the vital organs its the adrenaline flowing for fight mode. Its a case of getting out of their way and fast as theres no time to hope they will listen to reason as they are beyond that stage.
