Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Saw something along these lines on another forum and thought this might be a nice stress -anxiety reliever and a fun way to get to know one another. I will start...If you could have dinner with anyone, alive or dead, who would it be? Ok, I have so much imagination and so many people living and dead from President Lincoln to Nelson Mandella that I would love to converse with. So to pick one, my heart picks my Mother. I would want to know that she is ok, that she knows I am trying to be as courageous, honest, compassionate and graceful under life's pressures as she was. I would want to hold her hand throughout dinner and just see her smile and not in pain. I would want to tell her "I love her and miss her every day. "

What is your favorite movie?
My new fav is Silver LInings Playbook; on second thought maybe I could take both Bradley Cooper AND my dad to Greece ;-)
My current fave (of many!) is "The Cake Eaters". It is such a sweet coming of age film.
OK... in a magic world, if you could have written any book, what would it be? Mine would be Vikram Seth's "An Equal Music". I cried on the second page! Wow, to move someone to tears with two pages... xx

Ok..have to answer the super power one as well. The power to heal. The problem with it though would be I couldn't be everywhere and what if I healed someone for them only to be a bad person that killed someone later on? See, my mind just goes constantly ..argh

And fortress, I think I do believe it's real. There is so much erratic weather in the world these days, it scares me :(

I would ask him what to do, what career I should choose... Oddly, I think I know what he would say. He would tell me to pick myself up, brush myself off and find a partner who loves me to build a life and family with. He would tell me to become healthy, pursue the interests that I love and save my pennies for a rainy day. Then he wpuld reach across the table, hold my hand and tell me he loves me before he disappeared.
Hmmm... I feel like I just did have dinner with him. :)
Favorite movie: The matrix- I still feel like I swallowed the wrong pill when I decided to wake up! Hits very close to home.
Vacation: Queensland... I am an avid diver and my goal is to dive the three biggest reef systems. I would love to take someone who truly loves me with me.
Superpower I would most like to have: Teleportation! Traveling wpuld be so much cheaper! Lol!
I would rather go to a play, but it would have to be a good one. I usually prefer older scripts, because the last couple of modern plays I have been to have been really weird, as if they are someone's dream come to life. They probably made sense to whomever wrote them, but not to me!
