Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.

I find that medication helps calm the OCD tendencies. Zoloft is one of the ones that helps OCD. But there are other ones too. They are SSRI's kind of medications.
I actually remember you on this site a few years ago. Has something happened that your OCD has gotten worse lately? Sometimes, when we have more stress and worries in our life, our OCD acts up as a way of having some kind of control over our chaotic life stresses..
Don't give up. Maybe talk to your psychiatrist about trying a medication (again, if you've tried them before, try it again... they have newer ones out now, too).
And I also talk to a therapist by phone, weekly. If you don't have a therapist, do you have a friend, or family member.... someone that you can talk to? It helps to get this stuff out, to talk about our stresses.
It's tough, I know!!! I feel for you! But you can beat this! Or at least get a handle on it.
Any new stressors going on lately in your life?
Is this a choice you are making, to go off the Klonopin? Or was it your doctor's idea?
It's better to wean off under a doctor's care. Have to do it very, very, very slowly. Like a snail's pace.
It's tough to go off the benzo's. A doctor's care would help. And doing it super duper slow is important. Drink lots of water, to help flush it out of your system.
That's tough what you're going through... I'm sorry you are going through this. But just know that it's temporary feelings right now. They won't last forever.
