Weight loss Secrets

I am only heavy in my household...they support me but do not know my weight or plans. I only share and talk about it online weight loss sites.

Do you keep your efforts a secret from family?

Not really, family knows I am trying to loose weight. I do however exercise (when and if it happens) in private. I am very insecure how stupid I may look trying to work out considering im horribly out of shape.

I do tend to keep it to myself as I'm a slow loser and find it hard when well meaning people think I would do better if I lost weight their way - doing it by myself and for myself means nobody can take credit for it but me.

I tend to keep it to my self too. Just haven't found sharing about it to be helpful. Although, at WW or at OA I can vent about things to people who understand and that helps sometimes.

I am the same way. I find it more motivating and less frustrating if I can keep plans to myself as a way to surprise others but also because if I find something that does not work for me and stop doing it then someone isn't going to give me a hard time for giving up. I do like the idea of sharing here though because I feel like you all know what its like and there are no judgments!

I am a very introverted person so usually I keep everything to myself. I can be very talkative, in fact I love listening to people, I am a good listener. Fortunately most of the people around me accept that or got used to it.
I couldn't stand questions like 'how is your diet going?'. I would feel very uncomfortable. It is my business, if I am doing fine people might notice it, if I don't, no one needs to feel sorry about me.

My mom.,sister is my food police..they remind me to not overeat..which is Good. And very helpful.

No I tell my family and close friends. Even if I didn't they could tell. I don't post it on fb or tell Co workers. That helps some but not me. It adds more pressure for me.

    I'm horrified!  I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000.  I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter.  I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change.  Now this!  I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000.  I guess I have to pay...

    We all have 24 hours in a day.  How we spend these hours is important.  Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do.  Gonna have to work on that.Your turn.  Tell me another truth.
