I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
I'me also thankful for DS.
I so look forward to your post n replys. your witty n smart :)
I am thankful that I can still get up everyday and enjoy a job that I am truly passionate about and love.
I am thankful that over the past year I have gotten encouraging news about my overall health especially my brain malformation.
And I am thankful for DS and the wonderufl people here that inspire and help me with their kind words and thoughts. It's nice to have some place to share and to vent and to celebrate the small steps and successes.

I am thankful for many things, as this is a special year of milestones for me, too. I am thankful to God for His constant support, for my family (especially my parents), and for just being alive since there were many moments where I might not have even been here. I am also thankful for my support group of friends both online and offline. DS has been a Godsend in so many ways.
I am especially thankful for my weight loss which is nearing the 60 lb. mark. I still have a LONG ways to go but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for the first time in my life. I KNOW I am going to reach the finish line this time. It won't be in a month but instead take probably another year... but I have finally figured out the perfect combination of what works for me. Getting off my antidepressants after 11 1/2 years was the biggest factor (which has been the hardest journey) but has been so worth it. I've learned a lot about my brain and why it doesn't work the way it should and I am thankful for the knowledge I've gained and the tools to help me through this life.
My wish is that everyone on DS will have at least one thing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. It just takes one thing to hold on to that will keep us going toward a more positive future.
Happy Thanksgiving, friends!!
Bravo to those "biggest losers" this year...I Thank you for sharing your weight loss success this year and never look back,.YOU and WE all are WORTH IT!!!
