I love my home scale and just don't have the patience to weigh in weekly or monthly. I am addicted to my scale...I am doing my best to weigh in once in the morning, after my visit at the ladies room. I have heard that daily weigh ins helps to stay focus on choosing foods and keep a strong mindset as well.
I also read on another weight loss site that some folks keeps tabs on daily weigh ins and helping with weight loss. I did a search online and states daily weigh ins helps as well and losing proper loses than gaining or prevent a gain.
I used to weigh 3 times a day..before breakfast, before lunch ,before dinner and doing my best to understand the water weight..yo-yoing effect...which now am taking a water pill that my medical doctor presribed me,
Any thoughts about daily weigh ins? For those who is patient weighing weekly..How do you do it? I listen one segment on Dr Oz show this week, is best time to weigh in is at 7am...
My home scale is an old fashion doctors scale, with sliding block..so I know its accurate. I also weigh in whenever I see my medical doctor..which thier scale is digital..
Thanks for any thoughts about the scale/weigh ins input..
Have a nice day/evening

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
I keep a daily food/cal intake log. I also include total cal's intake for wk.
last wk I tempoary tripped, lol, but I'm up n moveing forward. It's ok when we have slips. we know what we need to do n what to do n to restart asap.
For myself I do better when I weigh myself daily.
Dyly, I also keep record of food water n cal's in take/cal's burned. At end of ea wk. I weigh in n write/log the wkly total info.
Yes weighing in anytime other than 1st thing in morning will give a false reading.
Dyly,I drink a gal of water. A gal of water wt being 8 Lbs. so na I'm not going to wait later in dy to weigh in.
Body uses 5 of 8 lbs of water during the day & almost all of remaining 3 lbs while we sleep.
Lilli Ann how r u doing ?
I had slip last night, opp's. I had 3 hand fulls of potatoe chip's. A freind had left chips here yesterday, me bad
So of course w salt in diet soda n salt in/on chips I had/have temporary water weight :O no problem, I just know to take that into account when I weigh in.
I have heard both sides from doctors tho. I have been told to do both, and I think you have to do what motivates and keeps you going. (Some people I know refuse to weigh in at all, except at the doctor. They use the tape measurer/clothes fitting rule.)
So, to each our own and GOOD LUCK to all.
