I had read on aol article about people being sedentary and in thier 60s with no movements at all are most likely on developing a heart attack, stroke or diabetes. Folks should move more and make a daily habit of it. It was a study and states that sitting and leading a sedentary lifestyle is worst than smoking ...It was a very interesting article...
I am not a nurse, but I sure do act like one. One of my sisters has Multple Scerolisis and can not walk and now is beddriden..poor thing.I do physical therapy on her that a pro PT once mentioned to me do for her. It won't help her walk, but stable her condition. I am learning alot and I am a huge fitnness police and how fitness is so,so cruical!!!!
I do not own a car..I always do errands by walking...Most days I walk for 3 hours. Yes, I do get joint pains...My body is telling me to move more..I rest and listen to what my body is telling me to do. I limit my rest and do not become a habit.
My aging mom is homebound, and she does light things of climbing stairs and house work. I do most of the rest..
I encourage everyone to make fitness a top of your list.Cut back on comp time and move more...Fitness is the key...and boost weight loss and overall health. Make time...Its not about looks anymore or have a sexy body...Its improving your physical and well being. Become your own fitness guru,,,Its your body, listen, move and repeat.
I have a busy weekend...house chores,laundry...Will check in later between breaks...
Enjoy your Saturday folks and make it a Happy Fitness day!!

I guess I have to pay...
