Jon - keep posting...it's wonderful that you can share with others who may one day be going through the same treatment.
Poshshorty - my deepest prayers are with you.
Mocha and I are doing ok - the house is quiet and I miss Lou every minute of every day!
Gayle
thank you all for the prayers.
Posh, yes--be prepared. Your dad's will to live has probably taken a big tumble. But you know that in his condition it was going to happen soon anyway,.
You haven't said much about your brother. Age? Kids? Wife? Auto accident? Or maybe you'd prefer not to discuss it. Just know that you're in my thoughts thruout each day.
Take care,
Janet
We were diagnosed late in the game and started at high intermediate. Four doses of Aranesp and four units of blood in the last 6 weeks and the hg has gone from 9.5 to 5.6. rbc 1..94, wbc 33 and platelet 44.
So sorry for what you are going through. You are in our hearts and prayers.
Linda
I'm going to a meeting tomorrow at lunch time...so I've asked someone to come dog sit for a few hours mid day...
New routines for both of us. Two light bulbs have burned out in the last 24 hours....SHIT - a new duty for me. They're ceiling lights - ugh!
Healing prayers to everyone!
Gayle
Gayle, glad to hear your starting the turn into the new routine that will come. It's a long sweeping turn but light bulbs will get changed, other things will get fixed and as tough as things are right now there's nothing there that you can't handle. You and everyone here has the big guy on our side and each other to fall back on. You keep at it... I know your going to do just fine.
Posh the same goes for you. Weve all been thinking about you and praying for your strenght that you need right now. You have some tough days and times ahead but like I told Gayle we have faith in you and know with all you've walked through already that you'll get through the days ahead.
Marybell your right living each day at a time and giving it all we can. I've been at it for almost three years now and hate those stupid blood tests and the picture they give us but each day is important to make all we can of it.
God Bless everyone. We're at the bottom end of the bad weather and getting quite a bit of ice and snow and are keeping the rest of the country in our prayers as they are going to really get hammered.
Be safe everyone and have a great week.
Mike
Just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be away until next Thursday. Keep bailing!
Posh I hope your coming along ok. It's not a short trip but know you'll make it through just fine.
Have a great weekend everyone and God Bless
Mike
I think what happened was that I was bailing on the ole leaky boat and a squirt of water must have hit me in the face and cause me to sign off with my mind thinking I had said howdy to you too LOL.
God Bless,
Mike
