Forgot to list my findings: here's a couple - I am also seeing a Naturopath so several of the supplements are from her ie. spirulina & chlorella, Heel products and some of the other ones.
I also have Manganese in with my Magnesium pills but I noticed it's not much - I will get an additional supplement. I have a B complex mulitvitamin so my vit. B's are ok. I will look into the castor oil (I will have to read that article again RedDutchGirl ;) - it's not easy to read at all all in these continuous paragraphs ;)
Thanks! This is really coming together and making sense... isn't it? Big Hugs!

I am still doing ok although my symptoms have plateaued the last few weeks. I think it's the parasite cleanse! I was warned that this would make me weak but I wanted to do this anyway.
I wanted to hear some other people's stores of what helps them and might help others. Thanks.
At one point, a few months ago I tried this therapy - I felt great a week later - but due to my delicate palate I could not bear the taste of this stuff! FYI it's good to read up and know that there is one more option there. I trust Chinese medicine - it's been around for thousands of years and it's all natural. If you're interested, look for a specialist in Chinese medicine in your area and let us know how you're doing...

Take note of Coenzyme Q10, Selenium and here's Lecithin and Vitamin E again....
It's a must read!

I am feeling better and better strength wise and the double vision comes and goes but it's bearable - so I do see much improvement.
This is what I added to my supplements:
Candida Cleanse (I did this 1 1/2 months after a Parasite cleanse first)
Candida Cleanse : http://www.renewlife.ca/products.php?id=36
Friendly Bacteria : http://www.natrenpro.com/product_HSS.asp
Along with these cleanses I have drastically adjusted my diet eg. NO sugar, NO processed foods, as little white flower and potatoes as possible, NO fermented products such as pickles, condiments, olives, alcohol, vinegrettes, hams/ cold cuts, and NO yeast in any breads - so NO pizza. It takes a lot of dedication but it's going great!
Anyway, after I completed these cleanses I continued with the 'friendly bacteria' supplements and
OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT :: read about it here: http://www.regenerativenutrition.com/content.asp?id=62
I am still taking these:
Lecithin granules
Phosphatidyl Choline
Creatine (not very often)
Fish Oil
Multivitamin (not anymore - it made me sick - I stick to foods instead)
Calcium/ Magnesium
Vit. D + K combo
Spirulina/ Chlorella
Coenzyme Q10
+ I increase E, protein in my diet + try to eat healthy.
Heel Homeopathic Remedies : Arsuneel, Gelsemium Homaccord,
Aesculus Compositum, Galium (I stopped taking these)
I have also researched these but I haven't started them: Huperzine A, DHEA, Freeze-dried thymus capsules (if you had a thymectomy), NADH
I went back to doing a mild workout consistently every 2-3 days plus I try to reduce stress w/ rest, nap, breathing exercises/ meditation + I get reflexology massages 1/wk.
Btw, I am taking 90mg of Mestinon 3 times a day (I've cut back my evening dose - no longer needed it.
Is anyone joining me in this Healing process??? Let me know if you are trying this or if you came across anything else interesting that might help. Big Hugs. A.
After I did the Candida Cleanse from RenewLife I am now taking:
Oregano Oil - 2 drops w/ water a day
Grapefruit Extract - 4-6 drops with above
Olive Leaf Extract - 2-3/ day
I still continue with my vitamins + I added
Ginkgo Biloba to get my brain functioning better - it improves concentration and memory.
My diet is strictly Vegeterian now (debating about being Vegan)
No SUGAR (even honey) in anything I eat or drink
NO DAIRY
NO FERMENTED FOODS (vinegars/ salad dressings, soy sauce,
NO MUSHROOMS
NO MAYO or any condiments
LITTLE FRUIT (at first when I did the cleanse I ate NONE but now I consume about 5% of the foods I eat per day - dried fruits included.)
NO BREADS W/ YEAST - or pizza - unless you find one without yeast - I haven't ;)
NO NUTS - except for Almonds
NO ALCOHOL - beer or wine
NO FRUIT JUICES - OR POP - or drinks with artificial sweetners
NO PROCESSED FOODS OR W/ PRESERVATIVES
That could be a torture for some - but once you go through the first week - you'll feel GREAT - I promise you - the foods you will eat will taste better and you'll be on a healthy diet. Because let's face it all that's left is al the vegetables and grains ;)
I should point out that YOU CAN STILL EAT MEAT - I just eliminated it for my case but it doesn't affect Candida. (Just no deli meats).
You will be healthy and happy! This is almost like a detox so expect to LOOSE SOME WEIGHT ;) YAY. (for me that's not good anymore as I'm at 95 lbs. - I have a problem of gaining weight now.)
Please note that I only take Mestinon - not Imuran or Prednisone - so I don't know how this will affect someone with these prescriptions.
I just want the best for all of us - just months ago I hit rock bottom and you guys were supporting me - now I want to help every single person to get better.
I had gastric bypass surgery in November of 2006, so I have been taking vitamin supplements and have my nutritional levels monitored closely.
I take calcium, vitamin D, Vitamin B complex, and a multivitamin.
I used to also take a sublingual b-12 supplement (thought it would help me because I had fatigue all the time) but I stopped that after learning that my levels were off the charts.
It doesn't hurt anything to have them that high, but it wasn't helping anything, either so why take them?
I take my B12 vitamins from Chlorella and Spirulina - they are edible algae - amazing stuff and high in B12
"Spirulina is a cyanobacteria. Spirulina's scientific name is arthrospira platensis. This edible algae has a long history of safe human consumption and over 30 years of safety testing. Special farms where spirulina is cultivated under controlled conditions do not allow the growth of other contaminant blue-green algae, as in lakes and waterways.
Benefits:
World's highest beta carotene food reduces long term health risks.
Spirulina beta carotene is ten times more concentrated than carrots. So even if you don't eat the recommended 4 to 9 servings of fruits and vegetables every day (most people eat only 1-2, including french fries), get your natural beta carotene insurance from spirulina to help support your body's defenses.
60% easy-to-digest vegetable protein without the fat and cholesterol of meat.
People are eating less meat and dairy protein because they want to lower fat, cholesterol, and chemicals in their diet. Spirulina is the highest protein food with all the essential amino acids and has only a few calories to keep your waistline where you want it.
A rare essential fatty acid is a key to health.
Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) in mother's milk helps develop healthy babies. Studies show nutritional deficiencies can block GLA production in your body, so a good dietary source of GLA can be important. Spirulina is the only other whole food with GLA.
Iron for women and children's health.
Iron is essential to build a strong system, yet is the most common mineral deficiency. Spirulina is rich in iron, magnesium and trace minerals, and is easier to absorb than iron supplements.
High in Vitamin B-12 and B Complex.
Spirulina is the highest source of B-12, essential for healthy nerves and tissue, especially for vegetarians.
Unusual phytonutrients for health and cleansing.
Scientists are discovering the benefits of polysaccharides, sulfolipids & glycolipids, and the rainbow of natural pigments that give spirulina a deep green color. Green (chlorophyll), blue (phycocyanin) and orange (carotenoids) colors collect the sun's energy and power growth. Chlorophyll is a natural cleanser and is often referred to as nature's green magic. "
