The thing that bugs me is there is nothing I can do to help resolve this, other than hoping for remission. I was so active and in good shape for my age (69). No weight problems, no smoking, and this came on like a thief in the night.

Prednisone is a deal with the devil in my opinion. It can definitely help MG in most cases, but the side effects are severe in some cases. In my case, I had breathing problems early on so it was necessary. If I can get off it, and be relatively symptom free I will be happy. Last December when I was having major difficulties I would of given anything to feel as good as I do today; even though I am not as well off as before the symptoms appeared.
