Severe headaches, blurry spot in left eye, numbness , pain in left arm leg, pain, stiffness in neck, fatigue,wanting to sleep all the time,and waking up one morning and had no feeling in my body from the neck down.

I had surgery on my foot and shortly after that it went numb. I thought the dr messed it up, but the numbness progressed and the whole right side of my body went numb. Thankfully it took only two weeks for my doc and the nuero to figure it all out. That was in November and now I have muscle spasticity and severe pain in my legs also my right foot is still numb. I have the feeling of cobwebs on my arms and face alot, and the fatigue is a real pain in the but.

Don't officially have MS... but numb forehead, right arm.. itching attacks numb tongue and genitals and tremors becoming quite severe..also some days I an read the sign across the road from work, and somedays everything is blurry. Still testing

Had pain in my eye in '99, went to optmalogist, they didn't know...it went away.. i never went back. Went to the GP in 2003, leg numbness, pins&needs, arm weakness, they thought carpal tunnel and low blood sugar...it went away...i never went back. 2004 limp, back pain, went to chiro...i felt better...it went away. I'm been going to chiro on and off for the past few years. Started limping in march...could barely walk in May...went to chiro... it didn't go away... chiro sent me to new GP. She listened and referred me to neuro right away... DX in June

When I was 25, I was having bouts of temporary blindness and once lost half my field of vision. Was incorrectly dxd with depression and later dxd with bipolar II disorder. Twenty-five years later, I experienced double vision. This time around, I was correctly dxd with RRMS. The second time around, though, the dx was also difficult as my lesions are in a huge mass which looked like a brain tumor. BTW, finally getting the correct dx after 25 years of being on the wrong meds felt like a rebirth, of sorts. To finally know what was wrong and to finally start correct tx was a godsend! :)

Dizziness.

I couldn't distinguish if it was a male or female driving a car while I was crossing a major street in NYC.

I was perfectly healthy and went into the hospital to donate bone marrow to my brother. The morning of the donation I started going numb on the bottoms of my feet, later i gradually went numb from the waist down. They did all kinds of tests. only said I think you might have Ms. years went by with no other symptoms.
Then I got vertigo realy bad. Went to another neuro and had some more tests. He said yes you have it you have to take these copaxone shots. I did not. I went several more years with nothing. had some trouble with my eyes a few times.
never really beleived that I had MS, I thought they screwed something up during the bone marrow donation. About 2 months ago I went and had a new MRI and a new Neuro simply because I had new insurance and had to get all new doctors. She showed me the MRI and all the new lesions since I saw the first one 12 years earlier.

i woke up one morning unable to move completely numb from the wasts down, went to the hospital. they said i possibly had ms and within 1 month i was dxd. still have numbness in legs and feet. feels like they are sleeping.

I'm still being tested but my PCP suspects MS. Mine started with tingling, prickly sensations, lightheadedness, numbness in the right thigh and after 5 months I have numbness and tingling in the face, neck, fingertips and new symptom lately is twitching on left side of tongue. Had prickly feelings in eye. Went to the eye doctor. He's treating me for dry eye syndrome. He said that the eye was so dry that the cells were not lubricated and therefore the nerve gets exposed to the air. Told me that Omega 3 w/fish oil was a must for lubrication of the glands which would stop the sensations and prescribed medication as well. Next neuro appt is August.

ON 2006. My eye Dr found it!! I have been being treated for each sX for 20 years and it was suspected 20 yrs ago and no one figured out why I had so many uti's numbness, pins and needles, migraines, falling alot, forgetting, depression, slurred speech, extreme fatigue, nausea. Dizziness. Bad VErtigo now. They kept saying stres or anxiety and treating me for stupid things not MS. So now I have lots and lots of lesions!
This was a time when I had great medical insurance that paid 100% of testing and I demanded to find out why my head was hurting so badly and I could not see well in my one eye, I was seeing double, my eye was not moving right and thank God my hubby was observant to tell the Drs. what I have tried 20 years to tell them! If I could go back, I would keep track of my SX everyday and write down 1-10 scale and keep a journal!

I foragot to say, the MRI says it all. I would encourage everyone to get one, it does not hurt, just annoying noise for about 45 min and lay in a tube. 20 years ago when I had my first mri it was in a semi trailer and they locked you in a capsule and it was like being buried alive but extrememly noisy! It was wicked. Now it is nothing!
