Stroke like symptoms on my left arm and face. Spent 4 days in the hospital on IV steriods, never again if I can help it, was diagnosed in the hospital, followed up for a second opinion and have it!

Fatigue. I couldnt keep up in high school. I was always tired. Always. Hard to keep up in school when you are always tired. Hard to maintain a college education when you are always feeling wiped out. Too tired to go out to dinner or a movie over and over again when dating,... the fatigue. The feeling of watching everyone else around you being ABLE to do these things with seemingly great ease, with this energy, but you are just so wiped out. Fatigue. Coupled with my left side that had tinglies which grew to pins and needles and eventually went numb in the elbow. And motor skill difficulties that developed through the years...like chewing and swallowing difficulties. But my diagnosis didnt come til years years later, with the focus on a hip injury that seemingly refused to heal. But by that time there was enough symptoms, and then some...to be able to put the puzzle pieces all together, so said the doctor.

I woke up one morning with double vision & a killer migraine. I was uninsured--just started a new job & the insurance hadn't kicked in yet--so I had to wait 6 weeks before I could see a doctor. The double vision lasted a solid 4 weeks.

Severe vertigo and massive headaches, which lead to a Grand Mal seizure, brain tumor surgery, not complete recovery 1 year later while follow up being done with MRI Neurosurgeon kept seeing more white spots and symptoms that I had continued to be numbness and vision problems, diagnosed with MS at this time, symptoms have progressively continued to get worse. They insist that the brain tumor had no correlation to the MS... so they claim. Go figure. I was denied disablity and to this date still have not been able to get any support, it has now been 7 years.

thought I was having a stroke numb, couln't walk dx 1986

I had numbness and pain in my feet. I kept hurting my feet, tripping, being off balance and terrible fatigue. Also had an episode where we thought I had a stroke on my left side. Took a year of running to drs. and getting worse until I was dx.

Complete paralysis over a period of a few hours.

Ambulance was called at the beginning of my symptoms, as we all thought I was having a stroke, eek!

I had a migraine (not abnormal for me)along with tingling and numbness in may hands (this WAS abnormal)...started feeling some numbness in feet...off-balance sort-of..just "not right"..for about 4 weeks now symptoms have moved around...i used to workout every morning at 3:30am..did cardio and weight-training...i thought the stiffness.and soreness in my legs was from good workouts-hah...haven't worked out for 4 weeks and legs still feel super tight..and hard to stand in one place for long without moving ...for me walking is easier than standing still. Feel "off" when i walk..and just overall muscle fatigue over the smallest movements.

Tingling hands + feet, shock sensation when I looked down, numb mid-section, heavy, heavy legs - very hard to lift, unable to stand for short periods of time, Optic Neuritis.

I was on vacation and I fell backwards and hit my head really hard. Ended up in the ER with what I thought was a concussion. They kept me for 4 days and told me I had MS. So mine was totally a finding but then I started putting the falls together over the years and they think I have had it for over 10 years. Other symptoms followed after the initial diagnosis 2 years ago.

I had numbness and tingling in both hands. Also problem with the vision in my right eye which three eye doctors could not explain.

I had numbness in both legs from the knee down. Never went away. Symptoms started July last year and took 4 months and tons of tests to finally find the MS.

well i walked down the hill to my moms than walked back and fell down well i picked myself up and started to walk again and fell again .that was an eye opener because i just didnt fall down all the time so i went to the nero.I aso slept like 15 hours or so a day..

Started with numbness in my right thigh, then in my arms, then the left side of my head and face went numb & pins and needles, then my legs hurt and went numb. But the clincher was when my right eye went blurry.(optic neuritis) That's when I knew I had MS and demanded an MRI. It came back positive. All these simptoms were over a two year period. They kept saying it was arthritis in my spine.

I thought ii was a pinched nerve.I had numbness and tingling from upper chest to my feet I had a hunch because my brother was DX 10 years earlier
