severe virtigo, extreme fatigue, dreamlike state, lower back pain, tinling in extremities, slurred speech, couldn't physically fuction. congnitive issues. There are more, it lasted about 2 months, but so many!

Optic Neuritis... then 2 1/2 years later I had numbness in my feet, I fell and broke my toe and then the numbness wouldn't go away.. the first Neuro told me I was crazy.. I found a new neuro who helped me figure it out..

Hi, I had numbness in legs and feet and kinds shocking numbness when I tilted my head down.

My left leg was hypersensitive, my rt. shoulder and arm were completly numb. The morning I ended up in the hospital I was grocery shopping with my girls and when the shopping cart ran in to my leg I was on the ground. I also couldn't stand my itchy, burning neck. My DH came home and we went to the hospital. They did an MRI and I ended up being there for a week. -Erin

Optic neuritis. I had been having ON pretty regularly since my very early 20's, and Drs said it was migraine. Last July, the vision didn't return in the time it normally would, and I went to opthalmology. She ordered my MRI, and found out what I'd been living with for ten years was an MS symptom, not migraine with aura. Vision finally returned after 5 months, that's my only confirmed full-blown attack, knock on wood.

I lost my balance while holding my son and almost put him through the tv screen

Numbness, sudden bladder control problems, tingling/burning sensations. These went away, and then I started falling for "no reason." That's what got me to the neuro -- I had chalked up the other symptoms to stress and a urinary tract infection.

Numbness and tingling in my right foot which started to creep up my leg. Wasn't concerned about it all--chalked it all up to falling off a bike and banging my knee up getting into a car--both on the same day. Chiropracter and physical therapy made things worse so suggestion was to see neuro.

Oh yes, I forgot so many! The L'hermitte's sign (electric shock sensation) all through my head, blurred vision, scratching until my arm would bleed and the burning!!!! The stiffness in my hips and lower back where I could barely walk!!

I got referred to neuro from my gp. I passed out in the street at my parents. I was non coherent for nearly 15mins. Then few other symptoms got worse after that. Back pain, slurred speach, twitches,hand tremors, headache, pins and needles.

TREMORS ON RIGHT SIDE OF MY BODY INCLUDING MY HEAD. THAT WAS 3 YEARS AGO. HAD OPTIC NEUR.... ABOUT 8 YEARS AGO BUT WAS TOLD I HAD A PSUEDO TUMOR AND WAS GIVEN PILLS AND WAS PRETTY MUCH DISMISSED. I GUESS THEY COULDNT DISMISS MY TREMORS....GO FIGURE.

Severe vertigo, could barely walk or any thing. Quick care clinic thought I had ear infection. After a week, called, they told me to go to ER.

After having contiuning back pain and going to the er by ambuluance twice, I talked to my chiro. He said he felt something different go get a lumar mri. I talked to my family dr and got one - nothing showed. He refered me to nuero. Meanwhile it got hard to write before my appointment. After a bunch of tests, I was dx. And I was told I had a bad back in the past LOL!

my epilepsy neuro finally read my MRI's and actually listened to me when i was telling him what had been going on with the numbness etc.. and sent me straight to MS clinic...and from there the rest is history as they say...grin

First episode was in 1960. No one knew what was happening - "It is all in your head."

Had knee surgery in 1992. Joking around before surgery telling them every thing i wanted to be better when the surgery was done. They almost stop the surgery because they thought I had a brain tumor.

3 days later I saw a horrible neuro.
