Making more typos is what took me to the doctor in the first place. I thought I had carpel tunnel syndrome, my doctor let me know that I probably needed more help than that, and unfortunately he was correct.

All the time!!

Makes me feel like I might not even be able to do secretarial work, which would be ideal as it is a sitting down job. Sigh...

I have a job where I must use the typewriter all day long to compose documents. I have noticed lately, within the past year or so, that my typing proficency has gone down the drain. Very frustrating I know.

I sent my son a text asking if he had his fish key, should have been house key. I do it all the time, I'll be thinking of one word I'll type something else. I also tend to leave words out.

I applied for a job and spelled the employers name wrong and didn't even notice.... Whoops

All the time. Have to proof and proof over and over!

i type whole sentences wrong and they end up meaning something totally different than what i was trying to say. i proof everything i write anymore and i still don't catch it. i used to not be like this. i've just started doing it here lately, i think. i never really paid attention to it until i read your post. then i started looking over things i already typed on here.

Im in the process of being diagnosed. Ive noticed when typing on chat with my cousin I put in words that are have no meaning to what i am saying. I have to proof read everything.

I make strange errors a lot in the last few years. I repeat parts of a sentence I'm messaging. -- strange ... I'll proofread and not catch it until the message is sent.

Thank goodness for spell check! I have right handed weakness, so I hit a key but not hard enough so it doesn't show up on the screen. I regularly type a lower case i when it should be upper case, because I didn't hold the shift key down hard enough. So I've learned to watch for those things.

When I have free time I am going to look up & find out which part of the brain controls speech & language as well as written language. Not only have I seen myself repeat works & phrases in written language, but according to my husband & kids there are times when I don't say what I am thinking or what i think I said. I wonder if this ever happened while I wad thinking.
I wonder if I have lesions on that part of my brain.

Also, it's good to remember that we are not natural born proof readers. Our brains are designed to overlook the "little" stuff and to comprehend the main gist of things so don't be so hard on yourself to start. I do things like this frequently and my skills are just fine. Maybe that's just me but I'm pretty sure we can all be better proof readers.

It's natural to blame a lot of things on MS. Unless you're sure of it, remember, it may not be. There are studies and articles on the subject. Here's just one of the articles I found just now.
