I am tired all of the time.
Now B/C of very bad muscle spasms they put me on valium now I really do sleep all of the time. I am also on over the max dose of baclofen.
They reduced the amount and how often I take it. I am now getting some spasms but not too often.
Is anyone on valium? did you get used to it. I would like a life.
I had to stop my volunteering at the sexual assault center I can not stay awake or when awake think clearly enough to talk to someone in crisis.
Does anyone know of another drug that can help that does not wipe you out sooo much??
Help!!! I feel like MS is taking over my life.

The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

I just tell people that it is my drug of choice!
And I do about half an hour walking a day.
However, I did suffer with fatigue , often sleeping 2 or three hours in the daytime, then sleeping all night, but that has passed. Perhaps I am one of the fortunate one.
(But just in case you envy me, my legs feel as though they are encased in cement!)
You don't have to let MS take over. Leg stretches and exercise not only stimulate the muscles, but exercise oxygenates the mind too. There's plenty online about Dr. Daniel Amen who talks about the brain and exercise. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLKj1puoWCg
I force myself to exercise and I also use "lumosity" with a free account to do the brain puzzle exercises.
I'm so sorry your doctor didn't have a better suggestion for you than the valium!
