Hello everyone, I have been using hearing aids for last 6 months. But, recently I started hearing a whistling noise after wearing it. First, I thought, there is something wrong with my hearing aid instrument, but it is fine. Later on I realized it is not the issue with hearing aid, the trouble is with my ear. If there is a significant amount of ear wax present in the canal, the wax can cause the sound to bounce backwards and creates a feedback ( http://www.hearingsolutions.ca/blog/what-do-i-do-if-my-hearing-aids-are-not-working-or-they-arent-loud-enough ) and that's why I heard a whistling noise. Does anyone had any such similar experience?

That is good information. I have a friend who has that loud whistle sometimes when he gets hugged.

I also worked up a sweat at the gym...
