do any of you do ok on rollercoasters?
soon i have to decide of im going to disney or not, and am wondering if its worth it if i cant ride rollercoasters. i always have loved them, but after my 4th concussion, i tried to ride one and the head jarring was just waaay too much, i felt awful
im calling my neuro to see if it's even safe to ride rollercoasters after 4, but what about having ms? i've only had vertigo once, does excess motion like bring it out or cause more fatiuge from the sudden movement and muscle tensing?
also - are there other fun things to do at disney besides rollercoasters? id just stay at the beach all day and go shopping during the heat of the day if i could

Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

1.) Magic Kingdom - Buzz Light year ride, Eating at "Be Your Guest" ballroom, daily parade and the castle lit up is beautiful at night.
2.) Hollywood Studios - Belle's show, Toy story ride, Indian Jones stunt show, Car Stunt Show are all fun to watch. Animation Station is where you can learn how to draw Disney characters with a Disney animator giving you step-by-step instructions. Mama's Italian (sp?) restaurant has excellent food.
3.) Epcot - "Soarin" in the Land is like hand gliding ride, a few 380 films shown in world showcase part of this park.
Canadian Steakhouse, Garden Grill (in the Land part) have excellent food.
4.) Animal Kingdom - Safari, we had henna done too, Lion King show.
These are a few of the non-coaster rides that we, as the adults, had fun doing. However, you will have to make your own decision on what would be fun to you. Some people really like cruises, others like historical sites (Washington is chucked full of them), etc. I wish you luck in finding a fun place to vacation.

BTW that's where we went on our honeymoon.
There are TONS of other attactions you will enjoy. I never was a roller coster person... and still enjoyed going. I always said that God never made our insides to be thrown in to places they weren't mean to be! ha ha?
I like Epcot. It's my favorite of all 4 main parks. I love the American Adventure show in EPCOT, (I cry every time still)!
Please go.
I have ms too, and need a wheel chair but still had fun.
Let us know!

We still made it work.

They have wheelchairs to rent too. You will get in front of all the lines if you're in a wheelchair, less standing and waiting. Be careful what time of year you go though. THe heat can be unbearable.
its good to hear there are other things to do, heat is my second biggest concern, i keep saying i'll buy a cooling vest (like every year) but i never do, but i'll probably be fine with one of those?
also, do wicking shirts help with heat at all if they're accompanied by a cooling vest?
I love them and they are great fun, I dont think that having MS would be a problem.
