I have been wanting to write this all day but simply did not have the energy.
What do you do when fatigue grabs a hold of you and you cannot even function. No energy for anything... even going to the bathroom takes all you have.
Today was one of those days and then my 3 year (whose birthday was yesterday and I did not even buy a present for because I have been so sick) anyway, she got a hold of pudding which ended up all over her and in her hair.
My 10 year old drew her a bath but after her bath she still had a dirty face and hair needing to be washed. I thought I would die doing that.
I was shaking so bad and almost threw up.
I then spent the next 3 hours crying over being such a useless bad parent.
Just typing this took me 3 shifts of typing, my energy is that low. But I needed to vent... and no one else seems to get it.

Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

Fatigue can be so awful, let alone being sick besides, eh? Remember, it's not us, it's the damn disease. Hope everyone feels better. Maybe a good night's rest will bring some sweet dreams and a restful morning. Keep a walking aid close by or use care when getting up and down from bed. We know how fatigue can be.
I pray that some good things will kick in for a wonderful day tomorrow.
Hugs,
~Lorrie
Hope it gets better tomorrow.
Hugs to you all.
I can barely move right now. My back hurts so much that I can barely move!
I was in bed most of yesterday which sure did not help.
Damn this disease, damn it!
I hate that you all have to go through all this... and I know you hate that I have to or anyone lsee. So why is it that we like to hear from others that are going through it?
For me, it is not that I am not alone... or that others have my same pain per se. But that I am not crazy. Sometimes I feel like it is me just being so ^%$# lazy or being such a woosy in not being able to handle the pain. And when I read others that struggle so much... I get a sense of validation that I am not crazy. That I am not imagining all this.
