I have Sleep Apnea, REM Sleep Disorder and RLS.
I was on Klonopin for the REM but I had to wean myself off. Side effects interfered with Programming.
I just started on a CPAP machine three days ago.
Haven't been able to tolerate a full night yet, but I am determined to get to that to see if it will do the magic that the Docs are saying.
I will admit to coming from a long line of crazy, mean little Portugese women...but other than that, I am disgustingly healthy.
My weight has been my biggest health issue up to now and that's because of a few things like: chocolate, ice cream, pizza, cookies, homemade only, steak, mexican food and Peanut M & M's.
fibro, ms, diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure, arthritis,
scolosis, degernative disk disease, cervical spondylosis
and sleeping problems, i think that's enough.........jan
it's like the step before the step before the step before cervical cancer
not really too scared about the blood clots and resulting TIA's now that i know what's the cause and i'm on blood thinners...
So here is my theory though:
I think...that it started with the cervical dysplasia and that sent my immune system into overdrive
which then caused the MS and a protein deficiency which caused the blood clots and the blood clot traveling to my brain causing the TIA
then the MS caused my muscles in my back to weaken to allow my spine to curve slightly causing the scoliosis....
i think the night terrors and migraines are (in my case) pure psychological from the stress and other outside factors...
lol
i'm a mess but i can dance like a champ ;)
i blame all my problems on my faf (as poppy would say )
Cancer ..what is it? It is when your own cells overgrow.
http://www.cancer.org/docroot/CRI/content/CRI_2_4_1x_What_Is_Cancer.asp
Normally, your body's immune system not only attacks viruses and bacteria. It also attacks the parts of your body that are overgrown.
Could it be that you had protein def. that is part of an absorption problem. It starved your immune system so it could not prune your overgrowing cells.
Since per the gov study below MS is an "aged" or weak immune system.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16126966?dopt=Abstract
That not only was your immune system weakened but the lack of protein weakened your muscles too. you need these same vitamins for your body to produce "feel good" neurotrasmitters like Dopamine.
That this lack of neurotransmitters leads to depression.

Just thinking aloud.
If this sounds like something you would want to read more about see below.
