Nose Running

Me and my mother both have M.S. I'm on Rebif and my mother, who was recently diagnosed, is on Tecfidera. She is experiencing an extremely case of runny nose...Could this be related to M.S. or maybe even the meducation?

I have been on Tecfidera since May & have no trouble with runny nose, Does she have a cold? MS can make ordinary things, like a cold worse. If it continues I would have her call her Neurologist.

I'm not on any of those meds, I take copaxone daily injection . But I have been having a running nose for several weeks now. I don't know what causes it. It seems to run in cycles. Who knows

I too am on Tefidera and don't experience any runny nose problems. I didn't even before I was on this medication, so I don't think it has anything to do with MS. Never heard of this before.

I don't take any of those but I do know that excessive a/c causes the cilia hairs to flatten and the nose to run. Check it out whenever you go to a restaurant with the a/c blowing like crazy... it will happen.

The last couple of days my nose has been running like crazy and I have been going through Kleenexes like they were going out of style. But I am not on any therapy drug right now. It could be my cat.

Allergies are in my family and no one else in my family has MS. My father always had a runny nose, especially before dinner. He had to get up and go blow his nose at dinnertime.

Allergies make my nose run. My nose runs sometimes when I am home and doesn't when I am away from home and there is no cat. But I don't care, it a cat only makes my nose run, I am not going to live without cats for that alone. I have had cats for 40+ years and I love them to death. So that is my story about running noses.

I think it is from an allergy whatever it may be - the weather, the pollen, the medication, food, or whatever, pet hair.

Good luck with it. By the way, if your nose is running, I hope you don't have to run and catch it!!! Sorry, but I had to say it after a subject title like that.

    I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital.  I don't think that we will have her much longer.  She is very frail.  Now she needs help eating.  So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying.  I think crying releases toxins into my body.  I also worked up a sweat at the gym...
