one of my LEAST favorite parts of being on prednisone is that my face gets so incredibly round.
i use contouring when i go out places, and can hide it decently well, but i am just feeling absolutely horrible because i am starting to not recognize myself in the mirror.
my face is very angular, and it's just completely gone on prednisone. i have to take it for another 20 something days, and am just really wanting to quit.
it's definitely helped and i'm thankful for prednisone, but i hate it at the same time.
all the other side effects are bad of course, but for me personally the worst to deal with emotionally is the whole change of face shape

The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

I call it my "Asian Marshmallow" phase. Ugh! I hate it! But you're right, there's not much you can do! It is what it is. But I totally feel you on this one. I think its especially hard for women because we like to be able to control our appearance!
Just know that either way you are beautiful and the moon face will subside in time. :)

i take turmeric but for any type of vision problems, its honestly worth it to just suck it up and take the prednisone unfortunately,
it works great for me but i'm definitely looking forward to having a normal face, im also getting the fat redistribution around my stomach which is fantastic (jk),
soon it'll be done though, i feel bad for the people who have to stay on it for years, they deserve some type of award lol
