Do you wear a medical alert bracelet? Should you wear one?
I wear one. I purchased just the medical alert tag, and then found a really great site on e-bay with beautiful bracelets that clip on the sides of the tag. I even have an MS orange ribbon bracelet! I just love switching them up week to week. I have frogs, ladybugs, beautiful tiger eyes, beads of every color, they are just beautiful and so inexpensive.
I have Diabetes II and MS listed on my medical alert tag. I also had an ICE name and number. Nobody knows its a medical alert braclet until they admire the bracelet and then notice the tag. I really think MSers should wear one.

Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

I haden't considered this before but it sure is all about us anyway and protecting ourselves.
I however am going to order anther one to add MS to the front. I think its a good idea because I've read that some people can also have seizures from ms, so I thought it wouldnt hurt to add MS to my new one just in case .
is the address where I purchased the tag, I purchased the sterling classic tag without a bracelet and purchase the bracelets from Karen's Artistic Touches at the address above.
Most of my frinds know I have it on & so does work so I dont have to carry medication list etc. Has been a godsend when taken to hospital in rush. Here Dr's know what it is & when I havent been able to talk have just pointed to it & dr or nurse opens it & gets all the info they need.
Some people wear theirs ona bracelt too.
I would be surprised if it is not available in other places too.
This is an idea of what that is:
