This has been a roller coaster two weeks and its not promising to get better in the next few weeks. Three weeks ago I got a stomach bug and had to miss a day of work. Not even a week later I wake up at 4am and pass out in the kitchen. Thank God I went to get something out of the fridge because I would have hit my head on the stove. Hubby got me back to bed and about 9am I get up to potty and pass out again. Again, thank God I wasn't setting on the toilet straight because I would have hit smack between my eyes and that would have killed me too. Next thing I know I've got blood comming out of both ends. Trip to the er and an endoscopy later I finding hAve a small aneurysm in my stomach. Day and a half in ccu, two pints of blood and an endless supply of over drugs and a total hospital stay of four days I get to go home only to have a follow up with the gi doctor to be told he has no idea why it happens and no idea if it will happen again. He and my blood doc and my Neuro say it's not my meds. Today I had a follow up with my hematologist only to find out I have to go thru more rounds of iron infusions because my iron is still very low even after two pints of blood (i have pernicious anemia and don't absorb iron so iron supplements won't work) evidently I managed to loose almost half my blood. Actually I didn't loose it, it just wasn't where it was supposed to be. And I still have to call and set up the Neuro psych evaluation.

Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

That is so weird. I hope you get some answers soon!!
