If I wake up in the night, I often have trouble getting back to sleep and this really throws me off. I try not to drink anything for hours before I go to sleep.
Rest is important, but maybe too much of it isn't helpful.

I now nap once or twice if I can for 30 min to an hour. I go to bed really late and from about 6 months ago definitely wake up at 3, in addition to 2 or 3 times to find the toilet (OAB). The new meds my neuro put me on was meant to mostly help with having a more restful sleep, but as others here warned me the effect of tizandine is 4 hours, so at 3 I take a smaller dose of my baclofen, and it normally works.
So, basically, I sleep more than I used to, but sometimes have insomnia too.
